Tony obtained his Bachelor of Laws from the University of Sydney in 1989. He grew up in Alice Springs and has resided principally in Darwin since 2000 with his wife and two children.

- Tony is a Director of leading law firm, Cridlands MB Lawyers practicing in commercial property and corporate matters (see - www. cridlandsmb.com.au);
- He is a member of the Catholic Diocese of Darwin Board advising the Catholic Bishop of Darwin;
- Tony is Chairman of the St Mary’s Star of the Sea Cathedral campaign committee for the $11 million restoration of the Darwin Cathedral;
- He is a member of the Resources and Energy Law Association of Australia, Law Council of Australia and Law Society of the Northern Territory;
- He is a legal advisor to local and territory governments and wider territory and national businesses and provides Pro Bono services to a range of groups and organisations.
