In 2008, Prince Alfred College, Adelaide and Westminster School, Marion opened their doors and their hearts to four Indigenous young people. These schools have been very generous in their support of the Conway’s Kids vision and mission statement. In 2009 a further two (2) young people began attending school in Adelaide. The first four young people have become “map makers” in relation to the vision for cultural Aboriginal children and now assist the new arrivals to settle in and understand the boarding school experience. With four girls attending Westminster School and two boys attending Prince Alfred College the staff have put into place structures to support the young people in their new lives as boarding school students.
